WHAT A BONER.

okay.. while at the courage center today in the fitness center, i received a call from my primary doctor herself RIGHT as my fitness center appointment with my fitness trainer nicole started. she said, "you came in for a bone density test last week and we just got the results in.." and i said, "yeah.." i wasn't sure that the results would still be accurate because i'm pretty sure i took my calcium supplements that day and i wasn't supposed to, so i THOUGHT my ils worker was gonna reschedule it. then she said, "and well.. it showed that you have osteoporosis." so EVEN WITH the calcium supplements- it showed that my bones were lacking calcium. *sigh* i said, "um.. okay." then she said, "i want you to come in for some blood tests because i want to know why you got it so early.. and some other blood levels. i'll call your case manager and schedule a blood test." then after i was on the phone with her, i told nicole what my doctor said and nicole said, "are they SURE you have osteoporosis? you're a little young to have osteoporosis." then i said, "yeah but i don't really drink milk." then she said, "well couldn't you get the calcium from other foods that you eat? like ice cream?" then i said, "yeah.. i'd think so because i eat ice cream like every night.. so, i don't know." my grandma always expressed her concern about me getting osteoporosis and breaking a hip (although i've never broken a hip in my whole life and/or any other bone in my body other than my left pointer finger that STUPID BUFFALO'S HOSPITAL DIDN'T SET RIGHT- SO NOW IT'S CROOKED). so.. my age is now catching up to me and i've NOT ONLY managed to land my ass in a wheelchair but to get osteoporosis at the age of 32. *sigh* WHAT A FUCKIN BITCH.
